French journalism: integrity & discretion... dignity

 


Following the course of ‘admitting’ in 2015 (30 months before the rise of #MeToo online) verbal sexual misconduct aka being sexually harassed http://babylondonorbital.blogspot.com/2015/05/le-diable-ecoute-smiths.html at work in a Parisian magazine Les Inrockuptibles in 1991-1992, five anonymous accounts defaming me were born between 2020 & 2021. 

Three remain: @SCSurveillance, @sc_surveillance, @SurveillanceSC. @BilesSix & @le_cancel (which defamed many other French women) were deleted by their author.s probably my aggressor.s. My Mailchimp account has been blocked since 22 September 2021 following a complaint from The Guardian journalist Sian Cain: according to her, I am ‘mentally ill and in distress’. [I created a Mailchimp account in May 2019, documenting my #MeToo journey in French journalism, unaware my (journalist) aggressor was being (unprofessionally) investigated:

Among his 9500 followers (on Twitter) in 2020/2021 (+ 1500 from Morocco & Malaysia/Indonesia he gained in one weekend of Spring 2020 or 2021), mainly French journalists from France Inter / Radio France, FranceTV, Libération, Mediapart, SoPress (Society, SoFoot, SoFilm etc), Le Monde / Courrier International / L’Obs / Télérama, Charlie Hebdo,  including a Paris based The Guardian female journalist but also some feminists and a few solicitors, nobody saw his ongoing psychological harassment / never ending humiliation he inflicted on me on Twitter: about me being mentally ill, psychotic, not responding to (never received) mails from a French female judge! Maybe they were writing an article or a book or had a swimming lesson? [In UK, we had intense periods of lockdowns over the COVID pandemic which I spent totally isolated, like all, but with no means of communication as masks prevented me from lip-reading when out for essential shopping, out of touch via Internet Videoing due to being HOH]. Yet, when he ‘won’ his case for unfair dismissal on 22 April 2021 after  being sacked for sexual harassment in May 2019, most Ligue du LOL team reacted to his victory sign Tweet! Meanwhile, at the height of newspapers like Libération or Le Monde are men like Dov Alfon (who blocked me on @Sybillebbldnrbt & @pandoravox1), Jérôme Fenoglio (who blocked me on @Sybillebbldnrbt & @pandoravox1), Luc Bronner, Louis Dreyfus who have kept writing (or sharing) editorials since 2017 defending women’s fate in (their built-up) patriarchal societies. How many female journalists, victims of sexual violence at work, have they hired? My work as a journalist & photographer looking for work via a blog has been plagiarised non stop since 2013!

This was, still is, violent constantly. While I received a notice of eviction 30 September 2021 (days after The Guardian Sian Cain’s complaint to Mailchimp), he was out of a two year unemployment (following his eviction for sexual harassment) thanks to the French magazine Marianne: he has been their Culture Chief Editor [“rédacteur en chef Culture @mariannelemag (art, spectacle vivant, littérature, cinéma, musique).).”] since then!

Following this post on 18 July 2022, a cyber-harassment account they call ‘parody’ which he kept RTing self-deleted itself but is back now; Emmanuel Tellier has moved house & hasn’t tweeted anything too indecent so far (6 August 2022). Emmanuel Tellier, a sex obsessed colleague at Les Inrocks...

Tellier was her mentor, aged 35, freshly arrived at Telerama from Les Inrocks:

9 February 2024, I discover Céline Kallmann’s Tweet/X she addressed my aggressor... Nine years / 9 years / NINE YEARS since I first revealed his humiliations / sexual oppressions / indecent proposals I was subjected to! Six and half years after #MeToo! Journalists, feminists, politicians, lawyers treated me as a liar / psychotic / a mentally disturbed woman upon reporting my agony; Kallmann got support: 184 comments – 1K reposts – 3.3K likes! (Tv program C'est dans l'Air mentioned it, produced by 

Bruno Gaston (tagged in August 2018) who had left Les Inrocks in 1986, 

years before I arrived in 1991)

Updates are in aqua stabilo Slightly over a year ago, I started a hunger strike.  When a friend contacted the Police, two policemen kicked my London flat's front door so hard that I had to open it. They wanted to make sure I was not going to damage myself. I told them I didn't want to die, I wanted to be heard by the French journalists / 'feminists' in regards of sexual violence they silence / let happen to me / others in journalism / photography!  I told the policemen I couldn't quite understand why my life was so important when nobody at the police station could do anything about the constant anonymous threats I have been receiving or the ongoing psychological abuse I get from my aggressors in the Paris based magazine Les Inrocks I worked for 30 years ago!  I told them " basically you want to make sure I stay alive so I can still be abused?
