Hi,
I
wanted to write this email yesterday but once arrived on a site with internet I
realised I forgot to bring my glasses (and hearing aids)… out of stress!
Landlord
was supposed to visit my bathroom at 3PM on 30 October 2024 as my neighbour’s
bathroom ceiling is damaged by a leak coming from my bathroom. At 4.30PM,
landlord not showing up, I took my hearing aids off and I dozed off for
spending hours anxious to see him. At 6PM, going to the toilet, there was a
flashing light through my letter box, I totally freaked. Landlord did it in
‘good faith’!
The
exchange (which I'm not adding here) is below my signature and this is what Hackney Council wants for me:
to live in a place where a landlord can show up anytime, flash a light through
a letter box, then bang it a few times! 8 November 2024, I have to spend time
with a dodgy and rogue landlord on my own!
Anyway:
Hackney Council has sent me a letter warning me I will lose my benefits on 9 November 2024 if I don’t sent my bank statements (attached x2)
; I explained to a Human
Rights lawyer that Hackney Council has not stopped harassing me with threats
since early 2023; I have nothing to hide but I feel it’s too much to be treated
as a delinquent every month! So next week, I’m either dead or homeless!
I’m also attaching how Josie Crisp got me in rent arrears from Spring 2021
with
false statements and how my French aggressor was aware of it! Strangely, a fake account in my name announced
in Spring 2021 that I
was evicted https://x.com/SCSurveillance/status/1388113754521493505 which
was retweeted by Emmanuel Tellier, my French aggressor based in
Paris https://x.com/Sybillebbldnrbt/status/1549285816849006594 as
image shows.
I’m
also attaching (x4) how Josie Crisp backed up landlord and flat agent in 2020 –
all her emails were in Court documents!
I’m also attaching an email that was sent in October 2023 by my solicitor to landlord instructing him to give them my compensation money to their bank account.
My solicitor’s office forwarded that email in February 2024. Why did
Josie Crisp and my ward Cllr, a regulation lawyer, Margaret Gordon spent two
hours in my flat on 19 December 2023 bullying me into giving up my
compensation money to landlord to participate to Hackney Council incentive?
They negotiated with landlord in my back when landlord was instructed to put
that money to my solicitor’s account. Working in Benefits for Hackney Council,
do Josie Crisp and Jennifer Wynter know that money won in court should go to
solicitor’s first? How about Margaret Gordon?
I’m also attaching an email (attached) landlord sent to my solicitors in June 2023 prior to Court Hearing as he wanted to settle out of court requesting I leave his flat;
on court day in July 2023, he also asked my barrister to settle out
of court. Why did he negotiate with Hackney Council via Lola Lawson for me to
stay two years? What was his plan as I have emailed a few times. He hasn’t
answered but insisted on changing the locks so he could get in even if I’m
locked in...
Why
has Margaret Gordon filled a section 22 instead of Section 13 in December 2023?
Why all details about me were wrong including a rent @ £931 monthly
when I sent her my rent agreement @ £975? When writing to Jennifer Wynter in
January 2024, she stated my rent at £975!
I
could go on...
This is what Caroline Woodley, Mayor of Hackney replied 14 November 2024 @ 5.42PM, totally beside the point, dismissing my anxiety to landlord (emails she read) as well as ignoring my deafness and the corrupt work from Housing Benefit officers...and adding things I know so I didn't ask:
Dear
Ms Castelain
Housing Benefit
Thank
you for your email to Mayor Caroline Woodley, which was received on 1 November
2024. We are sorry to hear of your concerns in relation to your landlord and
your Housing Benefit.
The
Council’s Benefits service has confirmed that your Housing Benefit claim is
live and in payment, and that your entitlement is £225 per week. We are advised
that there are no breaks in entitlement and the current rent is £975 per month.
[Nowhere in my email do I ask
how much landlord get from Housing Benefit or any clarification about my benefits!]
The
service has confirmed that Housing Benefit is paid directly to the landlord, Mr
John S..., on a fortnightly basis. [Nowhere in my email do I ask when landlord gets my Housing
Benefit!]
The
Department for Work and Pensions has asked the Council to check your
circumstances to ensure this payment remains correct, and we understand the
Council issued a review form to you on 3 October 2024 [Incorrect, they sent a letter dated 9 October which I
received 12 October – Woodley has all details]. You need to complete
this review form and confirm if your circumstances have changed or not.
We
understand Senior Benefit Officer, Mr Hizli, tried calling you several times on
6 and 7 November [he called me
4 and 6 Novemeber despite me being deaf] to assist you in completing the
review form. You can email Ergin.Hizli@hackney.gov.uk and he will assist you in
completing the review form.
In
terms of disrepair problems in your property [the complain is about landlord flashing a light through my
letter box and turning up 3 hours late], you may wish to consider
contacting the Council’s Private Sector Housing team. Further information is
available here and the team can be reached on 020 8356 4866 or by email:
privatesectorhousing@hackney.gov.uk.
We
hope that this information is helpful.
Yours
sincerely
